Scott Yeager has been wiring CT homes for 18 years. The brief: a full rebrand from "Yeager Electric" to CT Electric — Powering Connecticut, with red as the dominant brand color and yellow demoted to tertiary. Inspired by the Lineman ThemeForest theme, but built without the bloat.
01 · The brief
A rebrand that didn't lose Scott's voice.
Scott's old site was "Yeager Electric Co." — fine, but it boxed him into being a one-person shop forever. The new name, CT Electric · Powering Connecticut, opened the door for him to grow without rebranding again. The site had to deliver that while keeping Scott personally front and centre — the about page, the FAQ, the booking flow all still call him out by name.
Red took over as the dominant brand color (the logo is black + red, period). Yellow demoted to tertiary — used only for highlight underlines, hover states, and the "live dispatch" pulse indicator.
